Multi-lingual and multi-level navigation

For the Christchurch City Library’s grand opening in 2018, we created an interactive touch screen wayfinding kiosk to help visitors find their way around the building.
With accessibility and community needs at the fore, our design features a clean interface that visualises walking paths and allows users to switch between Te Reo Māori and English with one tap.
We also made updates easier for staff to manage by setting it all up in a Content Management System (CMS) package.
Users can take the journey onto their mobiles by scanning the destination’s QR code.
We added a keyboard – as well as list and map views – so users can look for specific destinations or points of interests
