Hi, I'm Jonathan from Born Digital.
Today I'm going to talk briefly about block content when creating articles using Umbraco CMS.
Block content is a flexible way of being able to create pages in your website using your own choice of the various page components that we have setup for you.
Instead of having a rigid page layout that forces you to create content to match a fixed page design, you get to build the page to suit your content.
An example could be where you are creating a blog post, which has a heading, a hero photo, intro text, body copy, a video, some more copy then an image gallery. You get to decide which order each element goes on the page, and once you are done you can easily drag and drop each item to reorder if you need to.
